The officials alleged that Easwar was trying to enter the sanctum sanctorum without the permission of the board.
Meanwhile, Rahul Easwar told media that the Tantri holds the right to decide on who enters the Sanctum Sanctorum and that the board has no power to block it. He also said that he will perform 'puja' if the tantri allows it.
Responding to the incident Sabarimala Tantri Kandararu Maheswararu said that Rahul had the right to participate in the puja and related matters.
Tantri said that he is entitled to take decision on tantric issues concerning the temple.
