Indian Tri colour Flag flutters on Islesbury soil
Aug 19,2012: India’s 66th Independence day was celebrated under the auspicious of AMS at Islesbury,Bukinghamshire. The friend of AMS,Suji Abraham’s father,retired school teacher V J Abraham Hoisted the flag for the commencement of the celebrations.It was ahome coming experience for the UK malayalees and also an opportunity for the children who were born and brought up here to learn about India and could be proud of the Country.

Nearly 50 including children and elders took part in the programme and the gathering affirmed that under the Indian flag all are brothers and sisters. Following the National anthem, sweets were distributed.Islesbury Malayam Samajam’s onam celebrations will be on Sep 8th at Guardian Angel church Hall.
