'Asuravith' Asif Ali not taking calls from Mohanlal, Priyan

KOCHI Jan 24: Like his character in his latest movie, Malayalam actor Asif Ali himself is turning out to be a real ‘Asuravithu’. Members of AMMA are cursing the actor for not turning up for the practice sessions for the celebrity Cricket League which is currently underway. Asif was one of the icon stars in the glamour league and was present in the posters of the team. However, his absence might leave no option for the actor Association AMMA, but to take disciplinary action against him.

Allegations against him are serious which say that the actor didn’t take the phone even after repeated calls from team captain, Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan. Asif was present during the shooting of the theme song and launching function. However, he was curiously absent for the training camps. When contacted he said that he was in Bangalore for some emergency. However, after this, no one has been able to contact the actor.

The Kerala Strikers team is run under the coordination of AMMA and 20 per cent of the share goes directly to the association. So, all members of the team are directly responsible for running the team. Earlier, Prithviraj had expressed his inability to reach for the practice camp.
