Malayalee student from East Ham allegedly cheats sixty persons

LONDON November 27: A Malayalee student Vishnu Das from East Ham has allegedly taken money from around sixty people in the pretext of getting them work permit visas, mostly students and escaped to India.

The students have now come out and appealed to the community leaders to help to get this culprit arrested. Vishnu Das is believed to have escaped to India and could be hiding outside Kerala for the time. Unconfirmed reports say that he may have escaped to Australia.

A case is filed in the UK as the offence is committed here.

Vishnu Das, aged 21, is from Pazhakutty in Nedumangad in Thiruvananthapuram is allegedly have siphoned of Rs1,50,00000.

He acted as an employer with the British Army and convinced other students and his network of friends that he can get work permit visa and took money from them. It is reported that he has taken between 100,000 and 150,000 each from each student.

Unconfirmed reports say that Vishnu Das is the son of Chellapadas, who is the brother of a four star hotelier in Thiruvananthapuram.

One of the students said that he had met Vishnu Das at the Kerala Palace restaurant in East Ham donning a British Army uniform. It is believed that he has also used to wear different types of wigs.
