State Bank of India to hold open day in Bristol on July 21 (Open Account Same Day)

BRISTOL: State Bank of India will be organising an open day to meet people in Bristol on Saturday, 21 st July 2012,Saturday from 11:30am to 4:30pm at Dev's Kerala Restaurant, 180 Gloucester, Road, Bristol, BS7 8NU.

State Bank of India will be presenting UK based products and people will also have the convenience of starting a relationship with the bank. SBI will help people in opening an account however this would be done strictly on basis of appointment.

Those who wish to open an account with SBI need to have the following documents with them:

- Proof of Identity (Passport/ Driving License/ Biometric card (if applicable)

- Proof of Address* (Driving Licence/ Utility Bill/ Bank Statement)

- Proof of Income (Payslip/ Bank Statement/ Income tax return)

Note: If you provide any of the above mentioned documents as proof of identity, then the "same document" cannot be used for the purpose of address verification.

Along with forms, a cheque should be drawn on your existing UK Bank account and must be for at least the minimum amount specified for the type of account that you wish to open.
