Every year different medical alumni associations used to hold the event by themselves in their area of choice which did not provide an ideal platform for everyone of the same ilk to join, meet and socialise. Therefore, we have all come together to host it jointly, said an official to this website.
The event to be held on 14,15 and 16th of September 2012 is organised by Malayalee Medical Association-UK (MMA-UK) and Association of Kottayam Medical Alumni-UK (AKMA-UK) and supported by alumni associations of Thrissue and Alleppey Medical colleges.
This historical event, to be held at the Daventry Court Hotel Sedgemoor Way, Daventry NN11 0SG, will also celebrates the Golden Jubilee year of Kottayam Medical College which was officially started in 1962.
On 15th September there will be sports and games during the day and entertainments in the night.
Well known play back singers Madhu Balakrishnan, Franko and Preethy Wariyar (Idea Star Singer fame) will be performing with live band from Kerala.
Comedians and film artistes Pisharody and Dharmajan will keep the audience entertained with their skits .To conclude the night there will be disco and dance to the tunes of a DJ.
